UPDATE June 8, 2025: Previously DCR's website mentioned movie nights occur weekly, but the site was updated on May 27, 2025 and now only shows two movies at Castle Island this summer (July 16th and August 27th). We kept the original schedule below in case anything changes. But please check DCR's website this summer before heading out with your little ones.

Pack a blanket and some snacks for FREE movies under the stars. DCR (Department of Recreation & Conservation) has multiple movie sites throughout the state. Below are the Castle Island movie dates. Showings are on Wednesdays and start at sundown. A big screen is positioned in front of the fort/castle and should be visible from the parking lot.
