The 2025 Google Doodle contest started October 15th and ended December 3rd. Google released a cryptic post on Youtube on October 14, 2025. The post hinted at the theme, which was confirmed the following day.

The Google Doodle contest typically starts in January and runs through March. In 2025, the event was pushed to the Fall instead of occurring during the winter. Google announced the change around June as a "save the date" on their official Doodle 4 Google website. The first day of fall was September 22nd, but no news has been released.

Google Doodle 2024 was from Jan 29 - Mar 14. The 2025 event looks like it never happened, but I can totally be wrong. Around June of 2025, I noticed people searching for the event, so I visited the official website and noticed they listed a save-the-date for the fall of 2025.

Description from 2023. There will be state winners, territory winners, national finalists, and a national winner. Prizes include a 24-hour display of the doodle, as well as $30,000 college scholarship, Google swag and more. The completed artwork can be submitted online or via mail.
