(DommiesBlessed included affiliate links to this description to help you easily find dance attire).

Rehearsal information:

Youth rehearsals begin September 21, 2024. Dancers should expect to have rehearsals every Saturday and Sunday from the weekend after auditions until the show dates. Anthony Williams’ Urban Nutcracker is a professional production and requires a serious commitment on the part of all of our young dancers and their families to attend all rehearsals. Rehearsals run September-December – mostly on weekends – in Jamaica Plain, MA.

No one is charged a participation fee, but there may be a small monetary investment for your child’s tights and shoes. Your child may be cast in a scene that requires specific costuming such as black sneakers, or nude jazz shoes, or a nude leotard to wear under costumes, etc. All children will need correct tights and slippers.
