Story times are intentionally offered four days a week (Monday - Thursday), ranging from late morning (around 10:00am), midday (around 1:15pm) and an evening reading (at 6:30pm). This ensures that the program is accessible to a range of family schedules.

Since the story times are offered outdoors, consider packing:

✓water

✓snacks

✓outdoor blanket

ReadBoston is significantly smaller this year. In 2023, the program partnered with 51 community-based locations including parks, centers, schools, clubs, and libraries in 14 of Boston's neighborhoods. In 2024, ReadBoston was cut by over 80%, and will only visit 9 locations 4 days a week (instead of 6).
