The OrigiNation Cultural Arts Center may be having their Kwanzaa celebration in D.C.! We are still awaiting details to confirm. Previous performances have been in Roxbury at Roxbury Community College's Cultural Arts Center. This year (2024) in celebration of the organization's 30th year, the Millennium Stage at the John F Kennedy Center for Performing Arts may be hosting the African inspired dance performance. The concert will focus on the 2nd principle of Kwanzaa (Kujichagulia - Self-Determination).

According to the Kennedy Center's website, tickets are free! As of December 20th, there is "standing room only."
