At 3 weeks old, she literally eats and sleeps. And she doesn't just go to sleep, she has to be walked to sleep.
So after her morning bath and massage, I sometimes wrap her to me and walk.
If she’s fussy at night and can’t sleep, I will swaddle her, hold her like a football and walk.
Something about the cadence of my steps, swing of my hips, and overall familiar movement puts her at ease.
I feel confident and overall like a better parent when I’m able to attend to our crying child's needs.
How about you? Have you found it difficult to settle your breastfed child sometimes? What do you use besides the breast to soothe them?
Until next time.
