First Priority recently celebrated their 100th anniversary. Their a fairly small credit union with less than 6,000 members as of December 31, 2023. Yet they stay committed to strengthening the bond within their community. For example, they have a meet Santa event in December, participate in the East Boston Farmer's Market and Back-To-School Block Party.
History
Founded in 1924, First Priority originally served Post Office workers. Since then, they've expanded their memberships to residents and workers in four Massachusetts counties. Today First Priority offers two locations -- one in Fort Point and the other in East Boston.
