12 Confessions Of A Human Pacifier

I’ve been a human pacifier for the past 2,726 days. These are my confessions...

One...

I’m an uncertified cuddler. Which means I find security in body heat.

Two...

Tiny hands holding the breast is the cutest image ever. A serious close tie with when our daughters looked up at me from the breast.

Three...

I know for sure nipple twindling is why my babies have amazing fine motor skills.

Four...

The newborn-to-one suckle knocks me out into the most intense lactation-induced sleep.

Five...

I never knew tongue posture was a thing, but it’s definitely another holistic benefit of nursed children.

Six...

It’s been 8 years and I’ve just recently developed an excitement for foraging herbs and preparing nutrient-dense meals that are comparable to breastmilk.

Seven...

I’ve installed health triggers around my home to support me nursing myself back to health. This means my fridge looks like a chilled rainbow. And the nutribullet is the ONLY kitchen appliance I have on my counter.

Eight...

Food, sleep, and orgasms are my go-to stress relievers.

Nine...

Despite having noticeably longer nipples that literally fold onto my areola, I’m not interested in getting designer nipples or a tattooed areola.

Ten...

Being a human pacifier while pregnant meant I legit could not move without waking the baby in me or beside me.

Eleven...

I’ve finally embraced my rolls, love handles, full hips and overall roundedness as a sign of exceptional health and a highly functioning motherly figure. Thank you to all the full-bodied wombmen who have confidently let their butts clap, their bellies roll, their hips swing, their thighs jiggle.

Twelve...

I let my boobs sweat.

Don’t be shy. What are your confessions? Need help breastfeeding?
