Our 4-year-old laughs when I refer to her hair as her crown.
“This is not my crown Mommy, crowns come off.”
“Not real ones baby. Real crowns don’t come off.” I always respond.
When I heard this phrase from Beyoncé’s new visual album, I felt like it was the perfect continuation to what I’ve been teaching our girls.
