These 2 Ingredients Clarify Our Curls

We regularly use heavy products [oil and shea butter] in our hair. So once a month, I try to clarify our strands so that the natural shine comes through.

Here is how dull our hair can look after weeks of applying oil and shea butter.

Now you may ask, why do you use it if it makes your hair look dull?

Well, oil and shea butter are amazing and naturally keep our hair soft and moisturized. They work better than any store bought product we have tried.

While I do wash their hair with soap, the two products we rely on to give our hair a fresh start is a mixture of apple cider vinegar (acv) and water.

The apple cider vinegar has a pungent smell, but the scent does not stay in our hair.

After I have washed their hair until it is squeaky clean, I run the apple cider vinegar and water mix through their entire head.

I do not use specific measurements - just a teeny amount of vinegar in a fullcontainer of water.

Afterwards our curls spring back to life and naturally shine.

Have you tried an apple cider vinegar rinse on your hair? If not, what do you use to clarify your curls. If you would like to try an acv rinse, please let us know below what it did for your hair.
