The Perfect Wear For Nursing Breasts

My breasts have been putting in some serious work over the past few years and so proper dress is essential. Nope I’m not into buying a bunch of gear, in fact quite the opposite. Here are five ways I dress my breasts.

1. Braless

Bare breasts are always best, especially for the first few months. Because they are expanding and deflating and filling up again with milk, my jugs just needed air and freedom after all of that work.

Also, the baby nurses constantly and I did not see the need for extra gadgets and having to frequently disrobe so that our little one could get to her food.

2. Light Weight Materials

I found layering light weight materials to be the most comfortable. Even though I was not physically working out, creating liquid gold allegedly burns hundreds of calories. I knew my body was working because I was always hot and sweaty. Layering light-weight materials definitely made me more comfortable, even in the winter.

3. Sports Bras

I shy away from bras that require specific cup sizes because my breasts have changed so much. I went from a C to an E-cup back down to who knows in a short amount of time.

I do not rely on my bras for support. Instead I wear them to keep my breast from flapping around. It doesn’t bother me to run or do jumping jacks braless, but …you know.

4. Patterns

I’m not into padded bras and I noticed that wearing patterns, prints and ruffles disguise and prevents my nipples from showing.

5. Built-In Bras

These are by far my favorite shirts. I have been unable to find some recently, so if you know where nice ones are sold, please leave a comment below.

How do you dress your nursing breasts?

Until next time…
